The Anti Corruption court has pushed the hearing of Mike Mukula’s bail application to Friday.Mukula the former Junior minister for Health also Soroti Municipality MP wanted his application to be heard today ,February 4.
The Soroti municipality MP was on January 18 sentenced to four years in prison after he was found guilty embezzling of Shs 210m of the Global Alliance Vaccine (GAVI) funds by Chief Magistrate Irene Akankwasa .
He filed a notice of appeal in the High Court anti-corruption division.Mukula subsequently applied for bail, seeking to be released pending the appeal.
