Police in Kampala are investigating circumstances under which a 74– year -old man died from a taxi which was heading to Jinja from Kampala city on Tuesday .

The unidentified man aged 74 was breathing heavily before he died ,according to a passenger who was seated next to him.

“He asked me to give him some water for drinking ,after drinking the water ,he died ” The passenger who did not give his name told police

He died seated in his seat and passengers jumped out of the vehicle in fear.

The vehicle was near shell ,on Jinja road when the incident happened .

The body of the deceased was removed and taken to Mulago hospital for a Postmortem.

Before the  body was taken to Mulago ,his family members were traced using his phone .One of the relatives said that he was not sick the last time he was with them and they suspected that he could have died as a result of High Blood Pressure.
