Mampi ,Zambia’s   Swililili singer has arrived in Uganda . The singer ,Mariam Mukape  real names , jetted into the country on Monday morning  at 9:30 am.

Mampi was welcomed by singer Bobi Wine and is to stay in Uganda for a week  ahead of  the long awaited performance at Valentine’s ‘Swilili’ concert  at Hotel Africana.

She  will hold a press briefing tomorrow to give the details of her performances in Uganda.

Mampi  who was  once  Zambia’s  big brother representative  became an item in Uganda after her two songs  ‘Swilili’ and ‘Why’  heated Uganda’s media waves  .

Mampi has even promised to record a Ugandan version of ‘Swilili’ with any Ugandan artist so as to keep her fan base in Uganda .
