Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president, Dr. Kizza Besigye and Kampala Woman MP, Nabila Nagayi are today going to appear in court to answer to charges of holding unlawful society which resulted into the death of one, John Micheal Ariong March last year.
Gen. Ariong was stoned to death by an angry mob as Dr. Besigye accompanied Kampala Mayor Erias Lukwago on an inspection tour in the central business center of Kampala.
Besigye was charged with unlawful assembly when he was arrested with other 16 opposition politicians. Of the 16 charged, 9 are to be charged with the murder of Assistant Inspector of Police Bosco Ariong who was stoned to death by a mob.
They are to appear in court presided over by Justice Mary Kayinza. The others to appear in court are Kawempe Mayor, Mubarack Munyagwa and Head of Women Wing FDC, Ingrid Turinawe.
