They are half sisters, that is all they are. Kylie and Kendall Jenner made it known that they are just half sisters with the Kardashians and do not admire to have their name.
In the March issue of Glamour magazine, the Jenners said they do have any desire to be Kardashians. “We’re full-throttle Jenners!” Kendall, 17, said. “We don’t have any desire to be Kardashians.” Sister Kylie, 15, agreed saying, “All that matters is that we’re a family.”
Although they do not have any desire to be Kardashians, they acknowledge the fact that their sisters help them out in many ways. “If we’re fighting, we call Khloe. She’s our peacemaker,” Kendall said. “Kourtney keeps us down-to-earth.” And Kim, whose baby-to-be with boyfriend Kanye West will soon join adorable cousins Mason, 2, and Penelope, 7 months, in the “next generation”?
“Kim teaches us how to deal with the spotlight,” Kylie added. About their brother and in-laws, the girls said, “Rob checks on me at least three times a day, and Lamar [Odom] wants to meet any guy we’re talking to,” Kylie said of Khloe’s husband. “Just yesterday Scott [Disick] was going over the kind of guy I should date.”
“Our family is closer because of the show. And when we are older, we’ll have the memories on tape,” she continued. “If some of those moments hadn’t been filmed, I wouldn’t remember them!”
Kendall signed with the Wilhelmina modeling agency at age 14, and both recently appeared in the ad campaign for prom and pageant dress designer Sherri Hill. They are set to launch their own clothing line with PacSun.
