By Juma Nsubuga

Kampala city council Authority boss Jenifer Musisi has petitioned the speaker of parliament Rebecca Kadaga demanding parliament to shift the investigations of KCCA matters from the committee of local government and public service chaired by Kalungu district woman MP Florence Kintu to presidential Affairs committee chaired by Barnabas Tinkasimire.

According to the petition, KCCA boss accuses some members seating on local government committee to have conflict of interest in the investigations citing out Mukono municipality MP Betty Nambooze together with Rubaga north MP Moses Kasibante.

Mrs Musisi in the petition said that the committee of local government does not give her with her officials a fair hearing when they appear before the committee like what the MPs do to the Lord Mayor.

Mrs Musisi also copied the petition to the minister in charge of Kampala Affairs Frank Tumwebaze and the chairperson presidential Affairs committee Barnabas Tinkasimire.

The speaker of parliament last year directed the local government and public service committee to handle the petition which was presented at the floor of parliament by Hon Betty Nambooze on KCCA matters because the committee of presidential Affairs delayed to present a report on the mismanagement of KCCA.
