The students of Pabbo secondary school in Amuru district are excited at their new Solar panels that were donated by the Kenya Commercial Bank, Gulu branch in partnership with Village Energy Uganda.

Ann Nyaga, the program manager, while donating the lamps said that they would be used by the students for boosting their performance.

She added  that  they chose to donate the lamps to a rural school because of the electricity  challenge which  affects the students’ studies.

The  senior four students  who benefited from the donation were excited and said they would use the lamps for their evening studies.

Silver Bamuruho the head teacher of the school  thanked KCB for their initiative.
