Its valentines day ,February 14 ,2013.As people across the world celebrate their love in different forms ,florists in the Ugandan capital Kampala, are celebrating the great sales from fresh and artificial flowers

Roses and lilies  range from Shs2,000 and Shs30,000. Bigger banquets go for shs15,000  to shs20,000 each .

Namakula a florist in the city center says she has earned a lot from home and office deliveries .”By 11am I had sold off all her stock ” she said as she  smiled in the Valentines mood with shs120,000 in her hand.

Dealers in Valentine cards and photo frames are also enjoying the business.
