Several hotels in Kampala have taken the Uganda football body, FUFA to court for failing to pay hotel bills which they incurred during the CECAFA cup.
Uganda hosted the CECAFA play offs in which it emerged as the winner later on beating other East African countries once again to the cup. All hosted countries brought to play the game lived and dined in hotel rooms and the bills were supposed to be paid by FUFA but till now, they have not yet cleared the bill.
FUFA vice-president and chief executive officer, Edgar Watson said he was shocked that they were taken to court because they were still in the process of clearing up the bills in time.
FUFA and other CECAFA organizers are being sued.
