It has been 15 years since Harry Potter stole the spotlight with the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
The first book in the book series was released in 1998 in the US although it debuted in the UK in 1997. JK Rowling’s American publisher, Sholastic, has unveiled a series of new book covers as illustrated by graphic novel artist, Kazu Kibuishi.
All seven new covers will appear on paperback editions available in September and will depict a “distinctive and memorable moment” from each book. One of the books shows Harry Potter’s first tour of the magical world with Hagrid and his owl appearing behind Potter as they walk through Diagon Alley.
The book series will also be released that month as a boxed set.
