The chairman of Gulu Veterans Association, Retired staff sergeant Patrick Omara has announced their plans to build a commercial center which will consist of Conference halls, Bars and offices among others.

Rtd. Sergeant Omara told the press yesterday that the plan will cost 200 Million shillings.

He said that the project will benefit all the veterans from the entire Acholi sub region.

Omara also explained that the Commercial centre will be built near Gulu University, on Plot 3, in Laroo Division.

The 200 million shillings was given to the veterans by the president in 2010.
