The three people, who were knocked by Gulu University Student’s Guild Van over the weekend, have been discharged.

The three  were admitted at Gulu Regional Referral hospital after  they  were  knocked down by a Guild van that was being driven by an errant car washer Michael Ojok last Sunday.

During accident, a 60 year old man who could not be identified was knocked to death.

Sister Josephine Abur, the in charge of the casualty at the Gulu Regional Referral Hospital identified them as Ojok Christopher, Helen Amony, and Opio.

They had all improved after the four days’ treatment .The incharge said that they had  suffered soft tissue injuries and chest trauma.

Festus Ojobile the Gulu Officer in charge of traffic at the Gulu central police station condemned errant driving which causes accidents to innocent drivers and road users.

Ojobile urged car owners to avoid leaving their car keys with those in the washing bay.

He also said that Ojok, the suspect  will be taken to court as soon as he recovers.
