Big Brother Africa Star also musician, Goldie Harvey is dead.Goldie, born Susan Filani, died Thursday night at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos. “Goldie, former Big Brother Housemate Dead” came the first news to her fans  on Valentines Day night !

According to the Daily Times newspaper Goldie Harvey died shortly after arriving in Nigeria from the US where she attended the Grammy awards.

Her record label, Kennies Music released an official statement through her Twitter and Facebook accounts announcing  Goldie Harvey’s death.

“It is with heavy heart that I have to inform you all that Goldie passed this night shortly after arriving Lagos from LA. May her soul
rest in the eternal peace of the Lord,” message posted by the administrator of the late’s page.

“Barely days after she returned to Lagos after attending the Grammys in the United States of  America, Nigeria’s version of Lady Gaga,
Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey, popularly known as Goldie, is dead.” He added

Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji  also wrote on her wall,

“Just got a call from her best friend and my close friend, Denrele Edun. He told me Goldie died a few minutes ago in his arms at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island. Goldie just came back from the US today he said, and was so full of life, then something went tragically wrong. Will get all the details from him in a bit, he was crying so much and had to switch off his phone. I’m shaking so bad. She and I had a conversation a few days ago while she was in the US. Oh dear Lord. Is this how people die? May her soul rest in peace..Amen.
