Roads are now filled with Nebanda’s supporters as heads to the campaigning grounds. Along the Busolrwe-Mbale road, traffic jam was at its highest as Nebanda passed the road.

The Butaleja Woman MP seat fell vacant after the death of Cerinah Nebanda who filled the seat. Florence Nebanda is sister to the deceased and is thought to have the biggest support because of her sister’s death.

Florence was disputing claims that she is not from Butaleja district as she briefly addressed voters and supporters. She recently had a name change from Florence Andiru to Florence Andiru Nebanda.

There are six candidates vying for the seat of Butaleja Woman MP. They are Betty Hamba (Independent), Felista Namwihiri (FDC) and Perusi Munaba (Independent), Florence Nebanda Andiru (NRM) and Sarah Annet Logose (Independent).
