Florance Andiru Nebanda has been declared winner of Butaleja by-election .

According the sources from Butaleja ,Florance Nebanda defeated FDC’s candidate  Felista Namwihiri ,her closest rival but the details of the results from the hot Butaleja election have not yet been revealed to the media .

Other candidates in the race  included Betty Hamba (Independent) ,Perusi Munaba (Independent) and Sarah Annet Logose (Independent).

Florence  Nebanda now becomes the  Butaleja Woman MP elect until her swearing in at parliament at a date which is yet to be announced.
