A family of four people have been burnt to death in Buliisa where they had gone to visit another family.

The dead include a man with his wife and their two children one aged 9 months and 2 years old.

News reaching Ugandapicks indicate that the family had travelled from Nebbi district to visit another family in Buliisa. Upon reaching their destination, their hosts opted to sleep at a neighbor’s since the house could not accommodate them all.

At night, the house was set on fire and the family was burnt to death.

Police is still investigating what started the fire although one suspect, Stephen Opondo who was in land wrangles with the hosts is in police custody.
