Rihanna has shown support for her boyfriend, Chris Brown by accompanying him together with his mother and two other unidentified women to answer to allegations that he did not complete his community labor sentence for battering Rihanna back in 2009.
Chris Brown is being accused of failure to complete his community labor sentence which he was given as punishment for beating up Rihanna who was at the time her boyfriend. During the hearing, the judge asked for more information on the allegations and pushed the next court hearing in two months time. The hearing was scheduled for April 5th.
Mark Geragos who is representing Brown said he was disturbed about the way the district attorney handled the case. Prosecutors say they will prove that Brown did not actually complete his sentence. They want him to do another labor service in addition to 180 days in Los Angeles county.
However, Geragos offered details of Brown’s various community labor stints clearing brush at stables, shredding documents, painting walls and picking up trash.
“I’ve never had a client, and I’ve represented a wide breadth and thousands of clients, never ever had a client who has been tortured by a DA’s office on probation like Chris Brown has,” Geragos said in a news conference.
