Brigadier Elly Kayanja of ‘Operation Wembley’ was admitted to hospital yesterday after collapsing.
At the moment, the former assistant coordinator of intelligence agencies is at Nakasero hospital were he was transferred to after being admitted to Case Clinic.
According to a fellow officer who prefered anonymity, the Brig. has a heart problem. “He is admitted and he is under intensive care. He has a heart problem,” he said.
Brig. Kayanja’s sickness comes a few days after another government official, Eriya Kategaya who is a the Minister for East African Community Affairs and First Deputy Prime Minister was rushed to Nairobi and was feared dead after being hospitalized for Thrombosis.
