The Brazil Carnival in Rio De Jeniro kicked off with a blast with women scantily dressed danced in different groups to win the post of Queen of the Carnival representing youth and beauty among others.
Yesterday, saw six samba schools showcase their talent as billions of people watched both live and on television. The first school to perform was Inocentes de Belford Roxo. More schools are expected to perform today. The carnival takes place at Rio’s 72,500-seat open-air Sambodrome, designed by the late star architect Oscar Niemeyer.
