The three priests are Fr Gasper Agwokotho,  Fr George Odokwun, and Fr Gabriel Okwong who are all attached to the Orussi parish, Parombo Parish and Ofaka sub-parish.

The Bishop of Nebbi Catholic Diocese the Right Reverend Lino Sanctus Wanok in a telephone interview with Uganda Picks explained that priests allegedly decided to stay at home without seeking for permission from the church.

The Bishop also blamed the three Bishops for the mistake saying that they knew very well that the diocese does not have enough priests.

The suspension of the three  Priests comes just a few days after the Pope announced his intentions to resign due to his poor health conditions.
