The Forum for Democratic Change secretary general, Ms Alice Alaso,on Tuesday asked Nandala Mafabi’s camp which contested the FDC 2012 presidential elections to apologise if they have no evidence that she rigged the  elections where Maj .Mugisha Muntu emerged winner .

Alaso who appeared before a committee investigating party  elections  on Tuesday said that Mafabi’s camp should provide enough evidence that she  and other people voted more than five times in favour of Mugisha Muntu .She added that if there is no evidence provided ,the team should apologise .

“My request is very simple ,if there is no evidence ,the team should apologise ” Alaso said

However ,Nandala’s team promised to provide evidence which will pin Alaso for being unfair in the elections .

During  a five-hour submission, Alaso  also vowed not to step down but promised to resign permanently if it is recommended by the committee as a sanction over any wrongdoing in the elections.
