Adam Kalungi, the major suspect in the murder of the late Butaleja MP Cerina Nebanda has been sent back to Luzira prison.
Kalungi appeared at Makindye Court on Wednesday for the hearing of the manslaughter case he was charged with in January.
Chief Magistrate Esther Nambayo adjourned the case to March 5th after State Attorney Lucy Kabahuma told court that investigations into the case are still going on.
Other suspects, Abid Rashid Butt, Fatima Babu, Khan Babu, Noor Abubaker who had been granted bail earlier were also sent back to jail since they have so far failed to fulfill bail requirements.
Meanwhile Adam Kalungi did not apply for bail citing security reasons.
On January 7th this year ,Kalungi was charged with manslaughter for allegedly supplying the drugs that led to the death of Ms Nebanda.
The state alleged that Kalungi and the above mentioned suspects caused the death of Nebanda on December 14 2012.
