33-year-old Adam Brody and 26-year-old Leighton Meester are officially dating.

The Gossip Girl actress and Brody have been dating secretly for some weeks. The two co-starred in a 2011 comedy/drama, The Oranges alongside Catherine Keener and Hugh Laurie, and since then, the two have been “hanging out”. “They were always close and friendly,” an insider said adding that the two would hang out on occasion during shooting for the film.

Meester previously dated actor, Aaron Himelstein but the two parted ways over the holidays.

Congratulations are in order then.
