After blaming themselves for the failed planned rally on the PRDP Funds that was scheduled to take place on Saturday in Gulu District, the Acholi MPs have decided to beg for forgiveness from the local residents.
The MPs while on one of the local radio stations in Gulu district begged for forgiveness from the local community.
They said that they were very sorry for pointing fingers at each other for the failed PRDP Rally in Pece Stadium in Gulu district.
MP Odonga Otto, the Aruu County MP stated that, “It was very unfortunate that the PRDP Rally flopped on Saturday but this should not divide us the MPs from the region”.
Beatrice Atim Anywar, the Woman MP for Kitgum also, known as Mama Mabira, said that the division among the Acholi MPs was not called for adding that at the time when the region is integrating there is need for unity.
The Acholi MPs clashed amongst themselves referring to each other mafias and saboteurs when the rally to address Gulu residents on the scandal in the Office of the Prime Minister flopped.
Beatrice Anywar and Gilbert Olanya who are all from the FDC Party accused the NRM MPs of being manipulative with the government and police to exasperate the PRDP rally.
After the failed rally, the MPs travelled in different vehicles; FDC’s Aol, Olanya and Anywar travelled in Olanya’s vehicle while NRMs’ Lowila, Adong and Okot moved together in Lowila’s car.
