Acholi region MPs have demanded that  the trial of  Former Principal Accountant  in the Office of the Prime Minister, Godfrey Kazinda Geoffrey Kazinda and his co- accused in the OPM scam to be transferred to northern Uganda, its area of jurisdiction.

The MPs met yesterday dressed in red and black T-shirts with inscriptions, “Architects of PRDP theft worse than Kony’s LRA”, .They agreed to push their demand to the Chief Justice ,Benjamin Odoki to transfer the trail of Kazinda to Northern Uganda where residents affected by the lost PRDP can also attend the court hearings.

They argued that this will make the people of the region  witness the proceedings which they want to end fairly.

Aruu County MP ,Odonga Otto noted that  Kazinda did not steal funds from donors but from Acholi people .“We believe the Kazindas did not steal from donors but from the Acholi.” Otto noted

The MPa also plan to push for the resignation the Minister in charge of Northern Uganda , Rebecca Atengo;They accuse her of not doing her work perfectly which they say could have contributed to the misuse of funds meant for helping Northern Uganda.
