The chairman electoral commission Eng Badru Kigundu has confirmed that a total number of 89,841 voters are expected to cast votes in a by-election in Butaleja district to replace the 24-year old fallen MP ,Cerinah Nebanda .
Eng Kigundu told journalists at EC headquarters on Thursday that polling materials will leave the commission head offices on Saturday and however advised candidates to send their representatives to observe the whole process.
Meanwhile the head of operations in police, Grace Turyagumanawe warned all people who wish to disorganize the process that they have deployed enough security personnel to handle any one intending to cause confusion.
The scuffle to replace the late Nebanda Cerinah in Butaleja district is between the FDC and NRM candidates although five women are in the race.
