Activists under the For God and My Country 4GC pressure group  have turned  down police summons over holding  illegal assemblies  .

Police recently  issued fresh summons  to the activists  over their continued defiance to police orders over some rallies that they organised.

Speaking to the press on Friday ,the national coordinator of the group  Mathias Mpuuga said that there is no reason as to why the police should continue summoning them.

Mr Mpunga stated that if the police feels they have a case to answer they should use the courts of law  rather than  insisting on summoning the group members.

He further said that they will only be ready to explain them selves if they get summons from courts of law but not the police.
