3500 couples were on Sunday wed in a mass wedding in North Korea at the Unification Church at Cheongshim Peace World Centre in Gapyeong.

The ceremony was presided over by Hak Ja-han, the widow of Sun Myung Moon, the man who first held the first mass wedding at the church back in 1961.
