A 16 year old girl has been beaten to death by her her own parents in Jinja district.

The sixteen year old girl identified as Eunice was a pupil of Buyengo Primary school in Primary six.She was beaten by her own parents,Micheal Muwumba and his wife.

During interrogation at Jinja police station ,Muwumba said that the girl had been at her grandmother’s place and had come back for studies. He was explaining to  the police why the girl had kept too long in Primary school.

The district Police Commander ,Jinja district ,Jonathan Musingzi said that the  parents will answer for  the death of the young girl.
