Marguerite Joseph a pensioner aged  104 years is on Facebook.She is one of the oldest Facebook users.

When she attempted to enter her real age when signing up to Facebook, an error message appeared on the page.

She  tried to input her birth year as 1908, with the help her granddaughter Gail Marlow, but Facebook automatically changed it to 1928.

Marguerite Joseph has been on Facebook for the last two years .She reads and responds to all her relative’s Facebook messages.

She is soon turning 105 and wishes that her age is presented corrected on her profile.

A Facebook spokesman said: ‘We’ve recently discovered an issue whereby some Facebook users may be unable to enter a birthday before 1910.

‘We are working on a fix for this and we apologise for the inconvenience.’
