Kampala Capital City Authority has announced that it will demolish more 100 illegal structures in the city .
KCCA’s Executive Director ,Jenifer Musisi says that owners of these illegal structures have been notified already .In accordance with the Physical Planning Act , landlords whose building will be razed will pay KCCA for the demolition.
“Reminders to them [owners] have been sent and this time round, our enforcement officers with bulldozers are moving out to raze them down,” she said.
KCCA last demolished illegal structures in the city last year among which was the controversial auto show room on plot 42 along Nile Avenue and partial demolitions around Centenary Park.
