Supporters of Zimbabwe President, Robert Mugabe have vowed to support the 89 going to 90 president till his death because he was the only capable Zimbabwe leader they saw.

President Mugabe was first elected into power in 1980 when he served as Prime Minister till 1987, and as the first executive head of state since 1987. He was the first prime minister of Zimbabwe.

Mugabe was the Secretary General of the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) which saw him gain favor and fame in the eyes of Zimbabweans in the 1960′s. He has ruled Zimbabwe for over 30 years and he still wants to continue ruling. Currently, he is the oldest serving African President.

At the moment, ahead of the elections for the country since 2008 when he was defeated in the general elections but saw Zimbabwe at its worst after the elections with the worst kind of inflation the country and Africa, presidential term limits have been reinstated in the country. He shares power with opposition leaders  Morgan Tsvangirai and Arthur Mutambara.
