A woman drowned her one month old baby after having an argument with her husband.

Nambooze Maimuna, a resident of Kangulumira, Kayunga district decided to drown her baby after disagreeing with her husband.

The body of the dead child was found floating in a nearby stream the next morning by residents who identified the baby as one belonging to Maimuna. Police was called and arrived on scene. They took the body to the Kayunga hospital mortuary as they searched for Maimuna who is currently in hiding over what she did.

In another story, a man got angry, went and bought petrol and set his house on fire. The man, only identified as Micheal, a resident of Katakwi was seen buying petrol but no one knew what he was going to use it for. It is said he poured the petrol on his house, and set it alight. However, he was in the house and burnt himself up to.

Residents tried to put out the fire but failed in time before Micheal could die. By the time it was put out, he had gotten burnt. No one really knows what happened.
