A 65 year old woman identified as Khadija Abdullah is counting her losses after her house  caught fire when she was frying goat stew on Wednesday  evening.

Khadija who stays in the burnt grass thatched house  is a resident of Industrial area sub ward in Gulu municipality.She told the press in Gulu that her source pan caught on fire after the oil in it got over heated.

She now calls for help from good Samaritans since she has lost almost everything apart from only one mattress which she tried to rescue.
