The members of the Ave-Maria Village Savings Scheme in Alero sub County, Gulu district are said to have raided a home of one of their members who had failed to pay back a loan .They confiscated his  house hold items to recover the money.

The group members raided the  home of  Denis Lapyem claiming that he borrowed 1.6 Million shillings early last year but has failed to pay back the loan.

They also maintained that on several occasion, Lapyem has also been dodging meetings for Ave-Maria Village savings group.

No arrest have been made yet  by the police in Alero outpost since the matter has not yet been reported to the police .
