The Uganda Ambassador who was approved to represent Uganda in Washington DC ,Olive Wonekha has finally received an acceptance letter from the US government after verifying her academic documents.

Ambassador Wonekha is  the former Bududa district woman MP who was defeated in 2011 elections by 28 year old  Justine Kayinza.

She also participated in EALA elections last year and  failed to go through. From then she was chosen  by president Museveni to be an Ambassador in Washington DC.

Ever since she was appointed by president Museveni and approved by parliament as Uganda’s Ambassador in Washington DC, Ambassador Wonekha has been  waiting for an acceptance letter from US government.

According to the reliable source in the ministry of foreign Affairs, Ambassador Wonekha was given a contract of three years to work as a Ugandan Ambassador in Washington DC and  that the ministry is now processing her travel documents and she will be leaving to US in Feb this year.
