The traffic Police officer for Gulu district Faso Ojobile has attributed most of the accidents in Gulu to the increasing motorcycles without number plates.

Ojobile has therefore  issued a directive to motorcycle riders without number plates to get them soon or they face the wrath of police.

Addressing journalists on Tuesday Ojobile said that motorcycles without number plates in Gulu district are imported from neighboring districts in  Southern Sudan.

He also suspects that the motorcycles have been waylaid by thieves and stolen and sold in Gulu town.

The Traffic Police Officer also explained that most of the owners of the motorcycles which are numberless  ,ride  recklessly since they know that the police are looking for them.
