Minister without Portfolio, Richard Todwong has urged leaders in Northern Uganda to develop love for their country so that they may safe guard it jealously.

Todwong was speaking from Pader District where there over 400 cadres are training.

The cadre training is being attended by civil servants, Councilors, NGOs and youth leaders among others.

The Minister who is also the Nwoya MP explained that it would be very good for the leaders in Northern Uganda to have nationalism for their country after the over 20 years of Lords Resistance Army  insurgency.

He decried the high level of laziness among Ugandan youth in Northern Uganda saying that it is a sign of having miserable future if not looked into.

He also urged people in Northern Uganda to avoid asking for government’s help every time saying that they should work very hard to gain after 20 years of civil war.
