There was drama at Eagles Nest Pub Mukono  on Wednesday morning  when taxi drivers under the umbrella ,Kayunga Road Taxi Drivers Association went on rampage demanding their leaders to explain the misuse of money they collect daily .

The taxi drivers  were in a meeting called by JOF Contractors Limited   whose director won the tender to collect taxes from taxi drivers operating in Mukono town.

Trouble begun when their chairperson Sam Kabuusu and the treasurer Muhammed Lutaaya failed to give accountability of the money collected from them in a period of six months.

The angry taxi drivers turned rowdy, exchanged words with the executive members to the extent of fighting each other.

They say that they are over 100 drivers and pay shs4000 per day, but they surprised that their leaders can not explain its whereabouts.

However, their leaders in response explained that the money was spent during their end of year party yet the drivers allege that they only ate rice without even any soft drink.
