Small Scale Traders, Farmers and Manufactures under their association Rural United Small Bussiness Associated Network have jointly started an East African international market.
The Open market is under construction on a 50 acre piece of land at Bibia just at the border post of Southern Sudan and Uganda.
The market targets customers from the nearby five countries which includes Kenya, Congo, Sudan, the central republic and Uganda.
The markets according to its proprietors who are now registering vendors believe that it has a capacity of over 20,000 stalls.
The chairperson of the rural united small business associated Network Kharim Karamagi says that this market at Bibia will bring together small scale traders in the region.
Mr Kharim also added that given support from the authorities the strategic location of this market at Bibia is a great milestone to realization of the free market protocol signed under the East African community.
