The Police in charge of crimes at Gulu Central Police Station have confirmed the arrest of a 35- year- old security guard attached to Uganda Securiko for shooting and injuring a 16- year -old boy.

James Asubu explained that the suspected Geoffrey Ojok shot Thomas Ojok, a street kid when him and other kids  allegedly threw a stone at him.

Asubu said the incident happened along Oliya road in Gulu town at 4am yesterday.

Thomas Ojok is now nursing  bruises on his nose and part of jaw which is said to have been torn by the bullet shot at Gulu regional referral hospital.

The Gulu Police Officer in charge of crimes said that Godfrey Ojok will be charged with attempted murder.
