The Police officer in charge of traffic in Amuru district has warned residents of Amuru district against throwing stones at vehicles along the Juba road.
Many trailers and buses travel through Amuru district to Southern Sudan.
Samuel Ogong while talking to the press in Amuru district said that they have received a number of reports about residents who throw objects at vehicles.
Ogong adds that the residents who are mainly youth between the age of 18 to 26 risk going behind the bars if they do not stop.
He said that last Sunday a number of youth in Pacilu pelted stones at a Bakulu Bus and a cargo truck he said that he could not identify by press time that were travelling from Kampala to Juba.
He said that the incidence caused a lot of tension between drivers of the two vehicles until they had to calm down the situation.
