It hit the air waves and drove people crazy. Gangnam Style by PSY has managed to scoop a big award in South Korea as the Song of the year.

It won the Digital Daesang honor at the 2013 Golden Disk Awards, considered South Korea’s version of the Grammys. It became Youtube’s most watched video of all time with 805 million hits beating Justin Bieber’s “Baby” which had 803 million views.

Despite the big win, PSY did not attend the awards ceremony at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit.
