After failing to appear at police once again, police interrogated the lawyer of Hassan Basajjabalaba about his whereabouts.
Godfrey Nangumya went to Kibuli police station and told the police that his client would not be able to show up once again because he was outside the country but instead he was apprehended and interrogated. He went tot he police with Basajjabalaba’s brother, Nasser Basajjabalaba and Igara MP, Micheal Mawanda at 8:00am today.
They appeared at police and met investigators, George Komurubuga and Patrick Oburu. As Nangumya was being interrogated, Mawanda and Nasser Basajjabalaba promised to deliver Basajjabalaba as soon as he came back to the country. They have now been given up to Monday for Basajjabalaba to appear at police after being summoned.
Nangumya also made the same assurance saying he will take him as summoned after his business trip.
