The Police in Nwoya has arrested four men suspected to be behind a number of robberies of passengers along Karuma-Pakwach road.

Moses Okello the Nwoya District Police Commander, identified the suspects as Justus Acaye aged 19, Steven Okello aged 17, Charles Ocan aged 20 and Kenneth Oola aged 18 from Purongo Sub County.

The residents in Nwoya district tipped the police after one of the suspects Steven Okello was seen selling over 30 cartons of Waragi whose source was unknown.

The Nwoya District Police Commander after parading the 3 suspects to the journalists said that they will all be arranged in court this week.
