Mukono police have arrested four men suspected to be part of gang of robbers who wear army attire and obtain money from people after kidnapping them.

The arrested have been identified as Abubaker Atim, Siraje Tibanika, Livingstone Ajika all residents of Banda and George Otto of Namasuba.

These have been caught with various full army combats and tins of tear gas.

The Mukono district police commander Alfred Bagambaki has said that the suspects on Saturday kidnapped one Sistus Wampamba from his home in Mukono and asked for shs 5 millions to set him free.

The victim contacted his wife to take the money who however tipped police which arrested them.

Bagambaki has added that these robbers are to be taken to court and be charged accordingly.
