The results of the 2012 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) were released yesterday, Monday 21st January with a total of 480,000 students passing.

Fort Portal emerged as the best district this time round beating Wakiso, Mbarara and Kampala. 565,663 students registered for the examinations. Results of 1, 603 students were withheld due to examination malpractice.
