Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has released Primary Leaving Examination 2012 results.

The results have been released by the Minister of Education Jessica Alupo.

Minister Alupo while releasing the results  said that there has been an improvement in performance with the pass rate increasing from 86.4% to 88.4% making it 2.0% increment.

Meanwhile the results of 1,603 pupils have been withheld from 38 schools country wide over examination malpractice.

Of 565,663 registered candidates, 59154 passed in first division, 25,035 in second division, 103,174 in third division, 67,704 in forth division and over 6,000 un graded.

Boys  performed better than girls and the best done subject was English.
