The NRM  party  has announced the dismissal of six of its MPs  for going against party rules .Some of the members set to face dismissal from NRM are Lwemiyaga County MP ,Theodore Ssekikubo ,Kampala Central MP ,Mohammed Nsereko  ,Ndorwa East MP,Wilfred Nuwagaba  and three other MPs.

Sources  with in  the party say  the second deputy Prime Minister Henry Muganwa Kajura chaired a  Cabinet meeting on Wednesday which   unanimously supported the proposal of  dismissing the MPs.

The acting Government Chief Whip, Ms Rose Namayanja confirmed the move but said more discussions are to be conducted to see what  to do with the MPs.

“In case of dismissal, for us we shall write to Parliament to decide on the implications otherwise as of now we cannot speculate,” she said.

MP Mohamed Nsereko has however stated that he has no problem with the dismissal after all he did not sign any where when joining the party .

Ms  Namayanja also stated that the move to dismiss the  Mps was discussed some time earlier even before the death of Cerina Nebanda which has embroiled the said rebel MPs in more conflict with  their NRM leaders.
