The NRM Buganda caucus is plotting to unseat Buganda caucus chairman Godfrey Kiwanda  and his deputy Betty Nambooze from their posts in the Buganda Caucus .

The NRM Buganda  caucus members  headed by Kyamuswa MP Tim Lwanga and Woman representative for Kyamkwanzi district held a meeting during  the retreat in Kyankwanzi and planned to put down the two Buganda caucus leaders.

The NRM MPs accuse Kiwanda of holding secret meetings with the Mengo government without informing the NRM party leaders.Kiwanda is also accused of taking part in  the process of collecting signatures   to recall parliament which was contrary to the party’s position on the matter.

Meanwhile Betty Nambooze is accused of using her position as the deputy chairperson of the caucus to abuse the president.
